I am Chad Higgins, a qualified CA(SA) with a passion and love for accounting. I have been a university accounting tutor for 4 years, covering first year, second year, and third year courses twice. I thoroughly enjoy helping others and find it rewarding when people begin to understand accounting the way I do. I am able to tutor school accounting for grades 9-12, as well as financial accounting from first year to honors level. I am a master's student in computational neuroscience. I have an honours degree in physics, with physics and maths as my majors during my undergraduate studies. Explaining things to people is one of my favorite activities. I don't mind how many times I need to explain something; if one explanation doesn't work, I try another. Figuring out how to help someone understand something is a bit like a fun math problem in itself. I can teach any math that is in the South African school syllabus. Her career in the education industry spans over 8 years as a private tutor, facilitator, curriculum designer and online English coach, working with students of all ages and proficiency levels both in South Africa and internationally. Outside of coaching, she enjoys spending time outdoors, playing sports, travelling and experiencing new and exciting cultures, as well as trying out the latest recipe on her TikTok "For You Page" when hosting her family and friends.
