I have been an English teacher for 7 years now. I have experience teaching in schools and tutorial centres.

My areas of specialty are spoken and written English.

I am available to teach in Kowloon, and am willing to also conduct online lessons if requested.

Having had experience teaching children of all ages has given me insight to how they learn best. My aim is to first get to know my students and they strengths and weaknesses. Making my students feel comfortable is also incredibly important to me, as only then will they be motivated to work on their areas of weaknesses.

Each child is different and will therefore require different types of activities to help improve their English. I cater my lessons to suit my students' individual needs.

Finally, I am willing to provide honest feedback to parents on their children's progress at any time.

My teaching method depends on my student's needs for that day. Writing - Grammar, sentence structure, and writing structure are best taught by completing fun written tasks about the child's areas of interest. Each written element is taught one by one at a gradual pace so as to not pressurise my students. Speaking - Initiating conversation is important to boost my student's confidence in speaking the language. I also use games to help improve my student's spoken English and vocabulary. Read less
