While I am currently a teaching fellow instructing both English and Writing at Queens College, CUNY, I find personal tutoring sessions are often the most productive way to engage students and increase their capabilities and productiveness. Students learn differently and at diverse paces; it can often be difficult to find success in the rigid classroom environment. This is something I've learned in my time as a professor in New York, the most diverse place in the world. By catering tutoring sessions to each student's own needs, I find that student success comes easier and faster. Additionally, the beauty of English/Writing is that class instruction can be tailored to a student's own interests, making instruction fun and productive. Read less
