Hello, my name is Shamiela and most of my students call me 'Sham'. I am from the beautiful city of Cape Town. Accounting is my subject and I can truly tell I love sharing the knowledge I have gained over the years.
I have been tutoring for over 10 years now and it has been a great journey to spend and interact with students of diversified backgrounds. Having studied Accounting and work as an accountant, I possess a strong conceptual base of Finance and Accounting along with practical experience. The joy I get while teaching people accounting is unexplained and I can proudly say I love what I do. I believe I am a good Story-teller and I use this skill to teach my students. I believe that I am a good Story-teller. I use this skill to teach my students. I keep telling my past experience in the form of stories to make them understand the concepts well and keep their interest in the session. Also using examples in Accounting is very important and you learn and understand a concept by practising, so I gove students questions to complete in order to help understand the concepts being taught. Also first know the basics and that is what our first lesson will be about. Read less
